Encounter Byron Bay sets up in Kulchajam Hub

Encounter Byron is basing itself out of the Kulchajam community venue in the Arts & Industry Estate of Byron Bay, Australia. A program of the not-for-profit Encounter Project,  venue is dedicated to empowering the local community through creating a hub for creative arts, music, food, small business, social programs and outreach.

Acacia Street Closure for Peddle and Hawk Market set for the 26th March:

Our Development Approval is approved and we will be closing Acacia St on the 26th of March for our first offical Peddle and Hawk Acacia St Market. 

For our first event we will have an array of kids activities, workshops, food and creative deliciousness! 

You can sign up for a market stall through our peddle and hawk webpage.

:Exhibit: 52: continuous living exhibit of sonic exploration, unique instruments, threshold films, loops and liminality

Beginning on Friday 10th of July at 7pm until Sunday July 12th 11pm :EXHIBIT: 52: is a cutting edge exploration of live art merging sound installations, live performance and an exhibition of unique hand made wooden machines into a continuous 52 hour performance. 

Hosted by the liminal caravan and featuring their 'temporal autonomous zone' bus bringing together the region's experimental sound and art practioners for diverse curation of creation.
